The business heads are Mr. Nirmal .P. Anandand JayshreeAnand-Makhija. In the Middle East, Mr. N. P. Anand has pioneered the concept of Multiplex Cinemas. His team has constructed 14 Complexes with 39 theatres.Jayshree Anand-Makhija is the Managing Director of the PLA Group; which includes P.L.A. Exports, P.L.A. Production and P.L.A. Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Producer, and business Development head, she has been a creative force behind PLA Entertainments feature projects. In India, PLA Productions has produced films such as silver jubilee box office hits and cult movies such as, Khatta Meetha and Chashme Buddoor. In the 90s, films like Jalwa, Hero Hiralal, Chatran and Doosra Kanoon became trendsetters for the film industry. Most recent films include Chupke-se (2003) and Saas Bahuaur Sensex (for Warner Bros India 2008)Produced on tight budgets, all these projects have been commercial successes. Today PLA Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. continues to produce feature film projects. While PLA Exports continues the acquisition and export trade of films, very successfully. PLA Entertainment is also associated with Twism Design Productions to create innovative new media projects. Twism Design is headed by Raman Lamba. Digital mixed media innovation, television commercials, promos, short films and visual art designed for phone or internet broadcast, and print media are some of the work undertaken at Twism Design. Through Twism Design Productions we are currently looking at developing new avenues of content creation and distribution in Indiaand overseas.
